About
Over a decade of experience providing massage therapy and spa treatments
I have over a decade of experience providing massage therapy and spa treatments. The majority of my education took place at the school of healing arts in San Diego, CA. There I completed a holistic health practitioner program. This was where a door to another world opened to me. This was a fantastic opportunity to learn about more than just massage. This program encompassed many types of massage modalities and natural medicine. Massage is something I am passionate about. I believe in bettering myself and my practice through continuing education. One of my fondest memories of learning was traveling to Thailand to study Thai Massage early in my career. This helped introduce me to the Thai technique, and I was fascinated by all the different topicals and herbal remedies that could be combined with massage.
Many products can be incorporated with a massage. I strongly believe what products a therapist uses can enhance the massage itself. I am very mindful of the products I use. I am diligent about where the products I use are sourced and what they contain. So you can feel confident incorporating them into your self-care routine. Our bodies can weaken sitting at the computer, driving, or just scrolling our phones. Our minds also deserve a break from time to time. I believe it's essential to schedule time out for ourselves and support a balanced lifestyle.
If I had a superpower, I think it would be the ability to induce a state of calm and security. Some people on my table have been known to be so relaxed they fall asleep. I think my massage supports deep states of relaxation and stress relief that encourage the body to repair and return to balance. Our muscles can hold memories, and massage can trigger emotions. Some clients find that my massage helps facilitate emotional release and healing.
